Romero survives brutal Broadmoor to win Open

Eduardo Romero has won the 29th U.S. Senior Open, carding a final round 3-over 73 to become the second Argentine golfer to win the trophy. Romero finished at 6-under 274 for the tournament, beating Fred Funk (75) by four strokes. Funk, who began the day two strokes back, saw his bid to become the fifth straight come-from-behind winner with a triple-bogey on the 13th hole. Mark McNulty (68) took third and Greg Norman (70) finished fourth.
