During my stay in Ireland this summer, I played the Lee Valley Golf and Country Club, not far from Cork, just follow the road to Macroom and you will see the signs after about 20 minutes. Arrive early during the week, and the course will be very quiet, and you'll get the early bird discount before 10:00 at EUR 35, which is well worth it. Very friendly staff, nice clubhouse, great course, thoroughly enjoyable.
