Outstanding irons. I owned last years FS, and liked them well enough, but after demo-ing the Platinums, I traded in my old ones and bought the set. They are better in every way, but the new ones truely excell in two areas: forgiveness and feel. The additional weight in the sole and toe really hel

A few hours ago I recieved an Orlimar TriMetal. I was hesitant to buy this club because I thought the club face was too shallow and I heard a lot of crap about how you get under the ball in the rough. Let me clear this up, I can't hit a three or four iron more than 100 yards off fairway grass, but

THIS BALL IS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. IT FEELS MUSHY, ITS NOT PARTICULARLY LONG AND EVEN WELL STRUCK GOLF SHOTS LEAVE THE COVER OF THE BALL PERMANENTLY MARRED. IN FACT, THE BETTER CONTACT YOU MAKE THE MORE LIKELY YOU ARE TO LEAVE DEEP GROOVE MARKS. TRY THE PRECEPT TOUR PREMIUM - ITS A BETTER PRODUCT

Can't say enough good things about this putter and in particular, the style #4 which is a semi-mallet. I tried the #1 2 days ago on the basis of some phenomenal putts achieved on the store's putting gree. But out on the course I found the #1 to be a bit too light for those 4 footers. Didn't inspire

I live in NYC, only about 30 miles from Bethpage, but I never attempted to get on the "Black" course at Bethpage because of the horror stories I heard about getting a tee time. Well, I lucked out last July (2000) when a friend of mine had an open spot in a foursome on the Black. WOW! What an exper

Bought 58-08 on recommendation of course pro. He had just sold his Cleveland 60 lob and now uses the Vokey. It is an excellent club and is easier to use than a 60 and goes 10-15 yard farther. (75 vs 60) The head is heavier than normal but is easy to get used to. I am now looking at either the

This is a nice course. Very well maintained from what I saw when I played on July 4 ,2000. A difficult course for a muni golfer like me. Not used to 400+ yd uphill par 4's. If you like to walk and be challenged, this will get your cardio in for the day, very hilly. I found the le

VERY GOOD ALIGNMENT FEATURE. PUTTS ROLL SMOOTHLY OFF OF FACE. OF THE 72 HOLES I HAVE PLAYED THUS FAR, SINCE BUYING THE PUTTER, I HAVE ONLY 3 PUTTED ONCE. IT'S NOT UNUSUAL FOR ME TO 3 PUTT ANYWHERE FROM 3 TO 4 TIMES ON A BAD DAY. SO IT APPEARS TO BE WORKING FOR ME.

Good iron for the mid and lower handicap player who prefers that advantages of a forged club, but still likes a bit of help on their off center hits. I did hit these much longer than the Other set I was using but the loft's are jacked up on these quite a bit. I had mine bent back(weaker) and had m

I was recently given one of these to try and was impressed with the feel. Distance was satisfactory although not as long as one of the harder balls, but the feel off the putter was incredible. Also, the ball stops almost dead when using any club from an eight iron or higher for shots into the gree
